Disclosures & No-Guarantee Notice

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Beacon Accreditation Consulting ("Beacon," "we," "us") wants every client to understand exactly what we do — and what we cannot promise — before working with us. Please read this notice carefully.

We provide preparation services only

Beacon helps health and human-services organizations prepare for CARF accreditation. Our work includes reviewing policies and plans, mapping your operations to CARF standards, organizing documentation, coaching your team, and conducting mock surveys. These are advisory and preparatory services. We are consultants, not surveyors or regulators.

Payment does not guarantee an outcome

Engaging Beacon and paying our fees does not guarantee that your organization will achieve, maintain, or renew CARF accreditation, or earn any particular accreditation decision or term. Our fees pay for our time, expertise, and deliverables — not for a result. No employee or representative of Beacon is authorized to promise an accreditation outcome, and any such statement is not binding.

Accreditation decisions belong to CARF

All accreditation decisions are made solely by CARF International through its own survey and review process, based on its own standards and criteria. Beacon has no role in, and no influence over, those decisions.

We are independent of CARF

Beacon is an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of CARF International. References to CARF are for identification only.

Regulatory references are general guidance

Information we provide about CARF standards, state regulations, and related requirements is general guidance and may not reflect the most current version that applies to you. Standards and rules change and vary by program, manual edition, and state. You should verify all requirements against the current CARF manual and applicable state and federal authorities before acting.

You remain responsible for your organization

Your organization remains solely responsible for its own operations, services, clinical and business decisions, regulatory compliance, and all submissions and representations made to CARF or any regulator. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement our recommendations.
